About Adolescent Mentoring Program

Our Program

The Adolescent Mentoring Program is dedicated to providing support and guidance to troubled adolescents. We are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of young individuals facing challenges. Our mentors are carefully selected to offer valuable assistance and mentorship to adolescents in need. We aim to create a safe and nurturing environment for our mentees, helping them build confidence and develop essential life skills. We are looking for volunteer mentors to help us out! This could mean you dedicate 1-2 hours per week to creating a bond with your assigned teenager. We are looking for people who have the physical and emotional availability to leave a positive effect on a child's life.

What Would Mentoring Look Like?

When you sign up to be a mentor, there are a few things you should expect. You will most likely be assigned a teenager that is in need of guidance. You will be matched based on similar interests and traits. Every week, you will meet for minimum of an hour to spend quality time together. Some activities could include assisting in school work, taking walks, helping the community, learning a new skill, attending fairs, attending sporting events, cooking and eating meals, playing video/card games, bike/golf cart rides, visiting Indiana Beach, visiting an animal shelter, participating in a new hobby, and much more! Please click the "Possible Activities" button for more details! We are flexible with times and if something comes up, you can always reschedule!
